Position Overview:

KeyCare is seeking a creative and strategic Content Marketing Specialist to play a vital role in our upcoming go-to-market (GTM) initiatives. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy for an early stage health-tech start up that fuels market awareness, educates potential customers, and generates excitement for our new product launch. Leveraging your knowledge of content marketing best practices and understanding of buyer journeys, you'll develop content that positions us as thought leaders and drives excitement around our offerings. Key Responsibilities of this role are: Market Segmentation, Messaging and Content, Sales Enablement, Channel Strategy, Launch Execution, Market Analysis, and Performance Metrics. This position is project based. The candidate will work closely with our Chief Growth Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and other key stakeholders to understand new product/service features, target audience needs, and GTM goals.
  • Develop a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the GTM timeline, encompassing content types, channels, and key messaging.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities.
  • Create high-quality content targeted towards different stages of the buyer's journey, including:  
  • Blog posts and articles announcing new products/services and highlighting their benefits.
  • Educational content (e.g., white papers, case studies) showcasing expertise and thought leadership.
  • Compelling landing pages, product descriptions, and email campaigns promoting new offerings.
  • Social media content (organic and paid) to generate pre-launch buzz and drive product awareness.
  • Craft compelling messaging that educates the audience about the product's benefits and positions it as the solution to their challenges.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic reach and visibility.
  • Develop a comprehensive content calendar aligned with the GTM timeline, focusing on pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
  • Track and analyze content performance using analytics tools, measure its impact on GTM objectives, and recommend adjustments to optimize results.
  • Stay updated on the latest content marketing trends and adapt content strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and external vendors (e.g., copywriters) to ensure high-quality content production.
  • Manage and promote content across various channels, including social media, email marketing, paid advertising (if applicable), and influencer marketing (if applicable).
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic traffic and visibility during launch.
  • Analyze content performance using metrics like website traffic, lead generation, and social media engagement to measure campaign effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with the GTM strategy and report on progress towards launch goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality content production on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of business, marketing, and sales lifecycle - early start up experience a plus!
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM system (e.g.HubSpot)
  • 3-5 years of experience in content marketing or a related field (e.g., digital marketing, B2B marketing)
  • Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, SEO principles, and content strategy development. Proven experience in creating content for product launches and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation platforms. (HubSpot a plus)
  • Solid understanding of buyer personas and the ability to tailor content to specific audience needs.
  • Familiarity with various content formats, including blog posts, articles, white papers, landing pages, social media content, and email campaigns.
  • Proficiency in content analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in a related role and a similar industry. 
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategy, business management, or similar.
