Position Overview:

As an Entry-Level MyChart Analyst and QA Tester, you will support the configuration, testing, and maintenance of the Epic EHR system. You will work closely with clinical and IT teams to ensure a high-quality, patient-friendly experience and that new features meet technical and functional requirements.


Base Pay Range: $40,000-$60,000 annual

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the configuration and maintenance of MyChart modules.

• Document test plans, execute test cases, and record results.

• Run test scripts for Epic workflows across applications including regression, upgrades, and new features.

• Identify, log, and track software defects and enhancement requests.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) with clinicians and other stakeholders.

• Provide basic end-user support and training materials for patients and staff.

• Partner with Implementation Managers to support client implementations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• MyChart Epic Certification or ability to obtain once employed.

• Internship or coursework related to healthcare IT or application testing.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with Epic Systems, particularly MyChart.

• Experience with QA tools (e.g. JIRA, Excel-based test cases).

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
