Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-performing and collaborative Vice President of Partnerships to drive new client acquisition and expansion at KeyCare. This role will lead the full enterprise sales lifecycle with a primary focus on health systems, while also working with opportunities across payors and other healthcare organizations. This role will be pivotal in landing new business, leading contracting and proposal processes, and supporting our go-to-market execution in close collaboration with product and marketing teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in value-based selling to health systems (preferably Epic clients) and other healthcare organizations, a strong grasp of telehealth and virtual care dynamics, and a proven ability to build and lead a data-driven, high-impact growth function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business with health systems and other enterprise clients, leading end-to-end sales from prospecting through contracting
- Expand relationships within existing accounts by introducing new services, programs, and geographies
- Partner with internal stakeholders (product, clinical, marketing, operations) to refine product-market fit and customer messaging
- Execute and continuously improve the GTM strategy using client and market feedback
- Lead proposal and pricing strategy development, RFP responses, and contract negotiations
- Maintain deep relationships across clinical, IT, and operational buyer personas in Epic-based organizations
- Support development and use of sales collateral, CRM tools, and pipeline reporting infrastructure
- Represent KeyCare at industry conferences and within your health system network
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitive landscape and customer pain points to refine positioning and pipeline strategy
- Partner with Client Success to drive high utilization, retention, and account growth
- Oversee one direct report in Sales Operations, with an opportunity to scale the team as KeyCare expands
- Build and execute a go-to-market strategy for non-health system segments, including payers, employers, pharma, and other enterprise clients
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of enterprise healthcare sales experience, including large hospitals and health systems
- Demonstrated success closing complex six-figure (or larger) deals with multiple stakeholders
- Experience selling into Epic-based organizations strongly preferred
- Proven success with value-based selling and consultative enterprise sales
- Deep understanding of the healthcare sales cycle and procurement processes
- Startup-ready: hands-on, resourceful, adaptable, and accountable
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with comfort presenting to C-suite leaders
- Strong command of CRM (preferably Salesforce), sales pipeline management, and KPI/OKR tracking
- Existing network of Epic health system leaders
- Experience with enterprise pricing strategies and structuring multi-year contracts
- Experience in virtual care, digital health, or automation technologies
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and align go-to-market tactics with client success and product development
