Position Overview:

KeyCare is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to be the leading force that fuels our new business growth engine. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a vital role in our sales team, prospecting for new business opportunities and qualifying leads. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers, understanding their needs, and nurturing qualified leads to move them through the sales pipeline. The SDR will be a proactive and curious member of our sales team, identifying growth opportunities and working closely with our sales team to ensure that our company’s sales goals are met. This is a fast-paced, performance-driven environment where your success will be measured by the number of high-quality leads you generate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and generate leads through cold calling, emailing, social selling, and other channels to identify potential customers.
  • Research and qualify leads to determine their needs, budget, and decision-making authority as well as determine their fit with the KeyCare's products or services.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their value proposition to prospects.
  • Maintain and update a CRM system (e.g., HubSpot) with accurate lead information and track progress through the sales pipeline of clients, prospects, partners, and vendors.
  • Secure appointments and demonstrations for Account Executives with qualified leads.
  • Conduct lead nurturing activities such as email drip campaigns and personalized follow-up to keep qualified leads engaged.
  • Participate in sales meetings, calls and training sessions to illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities; compile and analyze data to identify trends.
  • Analyze data and reports to identify trends and improve lead generation strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to understand lead generation initiatives.
  • Participate in brainstorming, office activities, staff meetings, and client meetings; research and assist with program development for existing clients and new prospects.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as call volume, lead generation, and qualification rates.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related field (or a strong desire to enter the sales profession) Proven experience in lead generation and prospecting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential customers over the phone and email
  • Ability to handle objections and overcome challenges
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders (Internal and external).  
  • Ability to understand client needs and negotiate costs and services.
  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office Suite and a CRM system (e.g.HubSpot) and an aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Proficiency using more than one language.
  • Experience developing internal processes and filing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in business sales, marketing, or a related or related discipline.

Travel Requirements

TBD - less than 10% of the time.
